Chelsea are back on home soil on Saturday evening when they face Manchester United in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

After two successive away games against Aston Villa and Brentford, Chelsea return to west London for a home match against Erik ten Hag's Manchester United.

It's been a successful start to Graham Potter's tenure at the club, winning five of his first seven games in charge which has propelled Chelsea into fourth place in the Premier League.

They beat Aston Villa last weekend as Steven Gerrard's reign at Villa Park came to an end this week. Chelsea then settled for a goalless draw away to Brentford, having Kepa Arrizabalaga to thank for several outstanding saves to continue his fine form in goal for the Blues.

With seven games still to play before the World Cup break, the schedule is packed for Chelsea and Potter will continue to make the changes to his side.

He made five in midweek for the London derby and more are expected to come once again on Saturday.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to continue in goal for Chelsea as his excellent recent form keeps Edouard Mendy out of the side and sitting on the bench.

Trevoh Chalobah has been hailed by Potter this week and with the injury absence of Wesley Fofana, he is set to keep his place in defence with Kalidou Koulibaly. But after being rested against Brentford, Thiago Silva is likely to come back into the side, which will see Chalobah move across to right centre-back.

"Very impressed, from day one," admitted Potter ahead of the game. "He wasn't in the start for the first couple of games but acted perfectly. Very focused on his football and helping the team. He's a bit of a solider.

"We've had some problems in terms of availability, but he's stood up and performing at a good level."

Ben Chilwell was rested against the Bees due to Potter managing his workload, he's in line for a recall as is Mateo Kovacic who came on from the bench after replacing an ill Conor Gallagher.

Mason Mount is set to keep his spot, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling could join him as they eye to reclaim their starting role after beginning on the bench against Brentford.

Potter has a fully fit squad other than the current absentees of Fofana (knee), Reece James (knee) and N'Golo Kante (hamstring) after Gallagher recovered from midweek illness.

On team news, Chelsea head coach said: "We are still in the process of recovery. Pretty much as we were with Brentford. Conor (Gallagher) trained today so we will see how he is over the 24 hours."
