Chelsea will revisit a potential transfer for Osumane Dembele this summer if he becomes a free agent after failed talks with Barcelona, it has been reported.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as his contract at Barcelona expires at the end of the month.
The most recent reports stated that Thomas Tuchel’s side were willing to offer the winger €8m-a-year this summer.

More recent reports have handed the Blues a boost in their potential pursuit once more, with Dembele holding a meeting with Barcelona.
The winger sat down with his agent and the club to discuss a potential renewal at the Camp Nou.
It was thought that his desire was to remain at Barcelona for the new season, preparing to open talks over a new contract once more.

Spanish journalist Helena Condis revealed that Dembele’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, was in Barcelona.
The winger wants to solve his future over the next few days as he prepared a meeting with the club.
The journalist later reported that after the meeting with Barcelona, the club refused to submit a new offer to the Chelsea target.
Both parties are no longer moving forward with negotiations after the meeting.

She continues to state that unless Barcelona improve their financial offer, Dembele will not consider a renewal.
This comes as a boost for Chelsea, who have been linked with a potential move for the winger.
Dembele’s best spell of his career came under Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund and he could look to join his former boss at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Blues will revisit a transfer for the 25-year-old if he becomes a free agent.
The Blues are unwilling to meet the wage demands of Sissoko for his client, which are believed to be astronomically high.
