Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has provided a fitness update following his return to pre-season.
The 23-year-old joined the Chelsea squad as they flew to Los Angeles on Saturday ahead of the two-week pre-season training camp in the United States.
Ending the season with 13 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, Mount was named as Chelsea’s Player of the Season for the second consecutive season.

Speaking to the official Chelsea website as he returned to training, Mount said: "It's only been three weeks off so you don't lose too much (fitness), and I always like to keep ticking over a little bit by doing training.
"In Portugal, with Chelsea U23s when they were there, I joined in a little shooting drill with them.
"When you keep ticking over it helps when you first comeback to not feel too far behind.

"There's been a group that have come back before us and been training for the past week so they are in good form.”
The Englishman continued to reveal his excitement to return to Chelsea after spending time away with his national team before going on holiday over the summer.
"I was just buzzing to get back with the boys, to get back with all the staff, to really get back working hard and get the season running. We've got a good few games here in America, a great few weeks, so we'll enjoy it,” he continued.
The midfielder will be hoping to win the club’s Player of the Season award once more and make it a hat-trick of accolades, but first he must put in the hard work in pre-season ahead of the new campaign.

When asked about his emotions regarding being voted as the Player of the Season, he said: "I would never set a target of winning Player of the Year. I set targets for what I want to achieve goals-wise, assists-wise, competitive-wise as a team.
"If I reach those targets then I know that my level is going to be high and I'm going to be performing.
"That's what I look at and when I sit down before a season and try to set my targets, I want to achieve more. That's always been my goal and my focus before a season."

Chelsea will be looking to challenge at the top of the Premier League, as well as in other competitions.
Last season Thomas Tuchel’s side lifted the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup while making it to both domestic cup finals.
Falling to defeat to Liverpool on penalties on both occasions, the Blues will be keen to put the disappointment behind them as they prepare for the new season.
Chelsea will face Club America, Charlotte FC and Arsenal on their pre-season tour of the USA before returning to Cobham later this month.
