Marcos Alonso’s agent is in London to negotiate a move to Barcelona, according to reports.
The Spaniard remains keen to depart the Blues this summer, with Barcelona holding interest.
It was previously reported that the wing-back is hopeful of becoming a Barcelona player within the next week.

Xavi Hernandez’s side are looking to secure his services for a ‘very affordable price’, hoping that Chelsea will allow him to leave on the cheap this summer.
The Spaniard has one year left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, with Emerson Palmieri preparing to return and fight for his place after a successful loan spell in Lyon last season.
Speaking earlier in the month, Alonso admitted his desire to play in La Liga as Barcelona circle.

He said: "On paper, I have a contract for one more year and that is where we’re at today. I’ve already said that I would like to play in Spain again, but it doesn’t depend entirely on me.
“I can’t complain about anything at Chelsea, but the desire to play in Spain is there. It doesn’t depend entirely on me and I’m happy at Chelsea, honestly.”
It has now been revealed by Mundo Deportivo that Alonso’s agent is in London to negotiate a return to Spain.
The report states that Fali Ramadani is in London to negotiate with Chelsea and find a way for Alonso to join Barcelona this summer.

However, there’s ‘absolutely no reason’ for Chelsea to agree to allow Alonso to depart for a small fee after losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger for nothing this summer.
As things stand Chelsea ‘do not seem willing’ to let their players leave for cheap.
Ramadani will ‘try to broker a deal’ for his client but Cesar Azpilicueta remains a priority for Xavi’s side this summer if they are to move for either defender.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel previously admitted that he could allow Azpilicueta to depart this summer despite penning a one-year automatic contract extension.
"He deserves it," admitted the Blues boss on Azpilicueta deciding his own future.
"And I listen to my captain. He has been at this club for more than a decade, so he has this right. This is my opinion.
"He is everything Chelsea is about, and I am so, so happy he is the captain because he is humble, hard-working, a nice guy and a polite guy.

"I am happy that in football, it's possible a guy like this can win all the trophies.
"That sets the example. It sets the tone. It sets the atmosphere at a very high level.
"Given the fact we lose already key defenders, it's not the ideal scenario to think about losing Azpi, even if I can understand his personal point of view.
"If you are a legend, which he is, you deserve maybe also from me and the club a second look at it, is there may be an exception from the rule. We are still in this process."
It is unclear as to whether the Blues will allow either defender to leave this summer, with Alonso already having Emerson waiting as a potential replacement at left wing-back ahead of the new season.
