The staggering wages of five Chelsea players who are not regular first-teamers have been revealed as Thomas Tuchel eyes a rebuild of his squad.
Chelsea are currently in the United States for pre-season which saw the Blues fly out to Los Angeles on Saturday for a training camp this week at the UCLA campus before their first match against Club America.
They will head to Las Vegas with a current 29-man squad, but Armando Broja and Raheem Sterling, the latter who is expected to complete his £47.5 million transfer this week after undergoing his medical at the weekend.

Pre-season will offer a chance for all to impress Tuchel, leaving the head coach with the final decision over whether or not they remain at Cobham all season, or if they are loaned or sold.
Chelsea have seen their wage bill significantly reduced already this summer. The departures of Antonio Rudiger, Saul Niguez and Romelu Lukaku have freed up wages, but they still have some staggering wages to pay.
As reported by Matt Law of The Telegraph, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Kenedy, Malang Sarr, Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi cannot be considered as first-team regulars and are currently costing the club in the region of £500,000 each week.

Kepa’s future in the capital is unclear, while Kenedy, Sarr, Barkley and Batshuayi could all find themselves heading for the exit this summer if Tuchel deems them surplus to requirements.
Mason Mount and Reece James are set for pay rises to reflect their importance and roles in the team, with co-owner Todd Boehly keen to tie the duo down to improved long-term deals at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea could also lose Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta to Barcelona this summer, with talks ongoing following Boehly’s trip to Barcelona last week.

Balance is being eyed on the wage sheet, and those five wages highlight how much Chelsea need to rebuild their squad structurally, both on and off the pitch.
