Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed he is feeling ‘confident’ at the club after keeping another clean sheet in their draw at Brentford.
The Spaniard has been on a good run of form for the Blues in recent weeks having emerged as their new number one choice in between the sticks.
Edouard Mendy has been the preferred option since he joined Chelsea in the summer of 2020, but his recent mistakes and injury issues have allowed Kepa to fight his way back into the side.

He was highly impressive in their 2-0 win against Aston Villa at the weekend where he made a superb trio of saves in the first half and despite Mendy returning from injury, Graham Potter has opted to keep him in the starting XI.
Such efforts in goal have been hugely beneficial to the side's recent results in all competitions.
It is clear to see Kepa is now full of confidence at Chelsea, and he confirmed this after their 0-0 draw at west London rivals Brentford on Wednesday night.
When speaking to Amazon Prime after the full-time whistle, the goalkeeper said: “Feeling very well, feeling confident with and without the ball.

“I’m feeling like I am helping the team. Happy. Today we didn’t win, we dropped two points because at the end of the game we had clear chances but we have to keep going.
“Every player needs this confidence (from the manager), this push and for a goalkeeper it is even more important to have continuity. When you are not playing, there are a lot of things you have to be aware of as training is not the same.
“I am playing well with confidence. I have to keep going and working.
“We are not happy because they had chances, but we had chances. The last 15-20 minutes we had clear opportunities, we dropped two points.

“We want to be fighting with the top clubs and stay as high as we can.”
Brentford boss Thomas Frank was complimentary of Kepa after the match when he told Amazon Prime: "Kepa (Arrizabalaga) was fantastic.
“Every time Chelsea come here, their goalkeeper is Man of the Match."

The Spanish international was on hand to deny the hosts on various occasions throughout the stalemate at the Gtech Community Stadium.
He stopped two close range efforts from Ivan Toney in the first half before preventing Bryan Mbeumo from scoring an opener shortly after the break.
Chelsea did have chances of their own throughout the match but like Brentford, they were unable to find the back of the net.
Potter’s side will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Manchester United, who are currently one spot below the Blues in the table.
