October has been a successful month for the Blues and it has seen them move into the top four spots in the Premier League.
If they can pick up a win against their London rivals, they would move to just one point behind both Tottenham and last years Champions Manchester City.
Last season Chelsea faced the then newly promoted Brentford three times, twice in the Premier League and once in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
While the Blues emerged victorious on two of the occasions, they were embarrassed when they played host to them at Stamford Bridge and were beaten 4-1.

As quoted by the official Chelsea website, the Englishman revealed: "He's fine. He's trained the last few days so he'll be involved against Brentford.
"He had a really heavy cold which knocked him about for a few days so the game against Villa came too soon but he's trained well recently so he'll be involved."
Ziyech has only featured once so far with Potter in charge and it was his first game against Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League.

Even though Chelsea will be without Reece James (knee), Wesley Fofana (knee) and N'Golo Kante (hamstring) for this contest the 29-year-old's return is a boost.
It has been a difficult start to the season for him, playing in just four matches for the Blues so far.
Ziyech will be hoping to utilise the game against Brentford if handed the opportunity to impress his new head coach.
