Graham Potter has sent Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a strong message of support at Chelsea after Thomas Tuchel's dismissal.
The 33-year-old arrived on Deadline Day under former head coach Tuchel, having shared a strong relationship with the German after their time together at Borussia Dortmund.
Speaking upon his arrival earlier in September, Aubameyang said: “It will be an honour and a joy again (to play under Tuchel), we had some good times in Dortmund together so I am really happy to play for him again.

"We will achieve some big things, I am sure of this and I will try to help the team.
"Come on you blues!"
However, after playing just one match under the German, Tuchel was dismissed and replaced by Potter.

This threw Aubameyang's future into immediate doubt just days after his arrival, but it was then revealed that he was assured of his role at the club, with Todd Boehly informing Aubameyang that he was made as a club signing.
Potter has now revealed that Aubameyang is crucial to his plans at Chelsea.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea's clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Potter discussed the role of the forward.

When asked about Aubameyang, he said: “Looking forward to working with him, enjoyed working with him in our brief time together.
"He’s a good guy, focused, wants to play, wants to score. Looking forward to it."
The Englishman then reiterated that Aubameyang does not need to prove himself in the Premier League upon his return since leaving Arsenal.

"He has nothing to prove to me or anything negative in that regard," Potter continued.
"His career is his career, I have huge respect for that.

"He’s acted as a top professional and person. Looking forward to working with him.”
Chelsea will be hoping that Aubameyang can get his first goal for the club on Saturday as they look to him to lead the line for the season.
It remains to be seen as to who will be selected in the Blues' attack, with Potter facing Palace in his first Premier League match at Chelsea.
