Graham Potter has revealed that he is pleased with the progress his Chelsea side have shown but he insists there is a long way to go in the fight for the top four.
Last year in the Premier League the Blues managed to hold onto third place despite being chased down by Arsenal and Tottenham in final weeks of the season.
In the 2022/23 campaign, Chelsea have had a trickier start and look to have a tougher job on their hands to secure a top four spot.

Currently the west London side are in fifth place in the table, just a point behind new head coach Potter's former club, Brighton and Hove Albion.
Before the 47-year-old took the job at Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel was still boss and was struggling to get positive results.
The season opener against Everton saw Chelsea emerge victorious in a 1-0 win courtesy of a Jorginho penalty.
In the following week the Blues were pegged back to a 2-2 draw late on against London rivals Tottenham at home. This was a frustrating result, but things got worse, an embarrassing 3-0 loss at the hands of Leeds United was a cause for major concern.

Despite picking up wins against Leicester City and West Ham, more points were dropped when Chelsea travelled to the south coast to play Southampton and lost 2-1.
The final nail in the coffin for Tuchel came when the Blues lost in the Champions League to Dinamo Zagreb 1-0.

Since his departure, Potter has come in and managed one draw and two wins from his first three games in charge.
His first game in the Premier League came last weekend, when Conor Gallagher hit a wonderful effort against his former side Crystal Palace to help Chelsea sneak away with all three points.

This weekend the Blues play host to Wolves who have had a challenging time of it so far this year.
Currently they are in the relegation zone and because of this announced earlier this week that Bruno Lage would no longer be manager.
The team will instead be led by Steve Davis and James Collins on Saturday. Ahead of the game on Friday afternoon the Chelsea head coach had his say in his pre-match press conference.
With the opportunity to move into the Champions League spots, he was questioned about the race for top four and responded by saying: "A long way to go. We have to focus on the next match. Rather than think about what happens at the end of the season, focus on the next game."
