The value of Graham Potter’s Chelsea contract has been revealed after he penned a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Potter’s arrival as Chelsea head coach was confirmed on Thursday afternoon after Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali made the decision to appoint the 47-year-old on a long-term contract.
Chelsea quickly swooped in for Potter following Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal on Wednesday morning during a meeting at Cobham to relieve the German of his duties in west London.

Boehly and Co wanted their next appointment to be someone who was willing to be part of the new era, project and vision at Stamford Bridge.
"They turned to Potter, he was keen and accepted the step up to make the move to the capital from the south coast.
He expressed his delight and outlined his ambitions and hopes for his new squad that he will meet for the first time on Friday morning.

Now he has arrived, Potter has earned a lucrative contract and pay rise which highlights the faith being shown in him to succeed at Chelsea under the new ownership.

As revealed by Matt Law of The Telegraph, Potter's five-year contract is worth £60 million. That means the former Brighton boss will earn £12 million-a-year.
The appointment, which sees five of his backroom team at Brighton join him at Chelsea, has cost the club in excess of £35 million and Boehly will be hoping the major decision pays off in the long run.
