Chelsea boss Graham Potter has given credit to his side for the win over AC Milan following their decline under previous head coach Thomas Tuchel.
On a night where they very much needed a victory to keep their Champions League hopes alive, the Blues beat their Italian opposition 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Wesley Fofana scored his first goal for the club as he slotted in from close range inside the area, although the Frenchman’s night was cut short due to injury.

Around 11 minutes after the break, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made it two goals in two games for the striker when he tapped in from Reece James’ cross.
Chelsea secured the win just a few moments later as Raheem Sterling spotted the run of James, who proceeded to fire the ball into the roof of the net.
Such a result now sees the west London side sit second in Group E of the competition, with FC Salzburg occupying top spot after their victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
Potter has now taken charge of three games at the club since his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion early in September.

When speaking to the media after the match, he gave credit to his players for their efforts over the last few weeks: “We've just been working hard. It's as simple as that.
“The players have responded well. I've been impressed with how open, honest, and responsible they are.
“I think they knew the level had dropped a little bit, and when you do that at this level, you can be punished.
“So it's a credit to the players that they've tried to take on the things we've spoken about, and it's just the start for us today.

“I'm part of the team, I guess, but it's the players that go out there, the players that do it.
“My job is just to remind them they can play at the level they showed today. That should be the minimum for us today.”
Chelsea’s next match in the Champions League will be against the same opposition from Wednesday night, with this fixture being played at the San Siro.

They will then travel to FC Salzburg for what could prove to be a crucial tie, before concluding their group stage efforts with a home match against Dinamo Zagreb.
The Blues are now just two games into what is a hectic schedule ahead of club football’s break for the World Cup.
Potter’s side are set to play another 11 games in all competitions before mid-November with Chelsea also playing their first Carabao Cup game of the season.
They will return to Premier League action when they face Wolves this Saturday, with the west London side currently sitting fifth in the table.
