Emerson Palmieri has completed his Chelsea exit to join West Ham on a permanent deal worth up to £15 million, it has been confirmed.
The 28-year-old leaves Stamford Bridge to move across the capital to their London counterparts West Ham following three-and-a-half years at the club after signing from AS Roma.
Emerson leaves Chelsea having made 71 appearances, scoring twice and registering five assists.

His time at the club has come with success. He has won both the Champions League and Europa League, as well as the Super Cup and FA Cup.
The Italy international missed out on the Club World Cup triumph due to spending the second half of last season on loan at Lyon.
But following the arrival of Marc Cucurella, Emerson has been surplus to requirements under Thomas Tuchel and the club allowed for an exit.
They agreed a £13 million fee plus £2 million in add-ons and the transfer has now been confirmed.

Following his move, he said: “I’m very happy to be here and to arrive here.

“Personally, since the first day I arrived here in England, I always saw the big clubs and I always watched the big games and I knew the history about West Ham.
"The history is so, so big for this team and so when I knew about the interest for sure I said ‘Yes, let’s go, I want to go there’ and I’m here now!
“I can’t wait to get started in a West Ham shirt.”
Boss David Moyes added: “We are very pleased to welcome Emerson to West Ham United.
