Edouard Mendy has claimed that Mason Mount is Thomas Tuchel’s son at Chelsea in a promotional video with Hublot.
Mount has flourished under the German boss since he was appointed in January 2021, proving to be one of the Blues’ most important players on the pitch.
Last season he amassed 29 goal contributions in all competitions, his best campaign to date in terms of goals and assists.

He also impressed under former manager Frank Lampard, with the club legend bringing Mount into the first team at Chelsea after a successful loan spell with Derby County.
Since his consistent inclusions under both bosses, the 23-year-old has been the subject of an ongoing joke amongst fans, which has now seemingly been picked up by some of the squad.
Mount, Mendy and Timo Werner were all in action for Chelsea as part of a video with sponsors Hublot, with the trio being asked various questions about each other.

The player who was being quizzed would then pass the ball to the teammate they believe the question refers to.
When goalkeeper Mendy was put in the spotlight, he was asked: “Most likely to sit next to the coach on the bus?”
After a period of thought the Senegal international made his decision, along with the shouting cries of, “Edu! Be honest, be honest!” from Werner.
He passed the ball to Mount before jokingly saying: “It’s his son! They sit together, no problem.”

The Chelsea squad will soon be reunited for the first time since the end of the previous campaign, with Tuchel’s side set to jet off to the United States for their pre-season tour, where they will play Club America, Charlotte FC and Arsenal in a series of friendly matches.
Next season will likely see the west London side set their sights on their first Premier League title since 2017, with Manchester City and Liverpool sharing the previous five honours.
They are already preparing to make moves in the transfer market this summer too, with Tuchel being promised up to six new signings in preparation for the new campaign.

Raheem Sterling is seemingly close to sealing his move from City in the coming days, with the 27-year-old believed to be ‘excited’ at the prospect of signing for Chelsea after seven years in Manchester.
Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt has also been linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge, and the Blues will ‘raise the stakes’ for the Dutchman amid interest from Bayern Munich.
