Inter Milan will not accept anything less than €35-40 million for Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries amid Chelsea interest, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel is still keen to make more moves in the summer transfer window to help bolster his defence for the upcoming season.
The Blues have lost both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively on free transfers which has left gaps.

While they have acquired Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli in a £34 million move, there is more to be done to rebuild the backline.
There have been multiple targets for the west London side, and as much as centre-backs such as Matthijs de Ligt, Nathan Ake and Jules Kounde have all been the priority for Tuchel, he has been keen to bring in another wing-back all summer.

Jonathan Clauss emerged as a lead candidate for Chelsea early on, but he has completed a £10 million move to Marseille on a three-year-deal. The Blues have since turned their attention to Inter Milan wing-back Dumfries.
It has been reported that Chelsea are working on a deal to sign both the 26-year-old and Leicester City centre-back Wesley Fofana.
The former Saint-Etienne man would likely cost the Blues a fortune, as he is contracted with the Foxes until 2027, signing a two-year extension back in March.

Fofana would be a leader at the back, but the potential signing of Dumfries would see him provide cover for Reece James in the wing-back slot.
The Dutchman joined the Italian outfit just one year ago on a €15 million deal from PSV Eindhoven.
As reported by Calciomercato, Inter will accept no less than €35-40 million for Dumfries.
Manager Simone Inzaghi is already having to go into the new season without Ivan Perisic, who completed a move to Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the window.

This could make it that bit more tricky for Chelsea, but should they offer the right price, it could result in a move being done.
While the Blues could still complete this move, they are now attempting to hijack Manchester City’s planned transfer for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Marc Cucurella.
The Citizens are reportedly ready to walk away from the transfer, following the £50 million price tag set by the Seagulls.
Chelsea however are ready to pay the fee so they can beat Pep Guardiola’s side to the signing.

The deal could potentially involve 19-year-old defender Levi Colwill, but it remains unclear whether that is on loan or permanently.
