West Ham boss David Moyes has accused Edouard Mendy of feigning injury in their clash against Chelsea following VAR controversy,
Chelsea came out 2-1 victors against the Irons despite a disappointing overall performance, going behind in the second half.
Michail Antonio netted the opener, which Thomas Tuchel believes shouldn't have been allowed due to an offside and foul in a previous passage of play.

Then, the Blues turned the match around through goals from substitutes Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz, with the former netting late on.
However, just moments after Chelsea were ahead, Maxwell Cornet put the ball in the back of the net for West Ham, who believed they had found an equaliser.
Despite this, the referee was asked to check the goal on a pitchside monitor by VAR, deciding to then rule out the equaliser for a foul from Jarrod Bowen on Mendy.

Moyes and his backroom staff were furious on the touchline as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Moyes' anger at the decision did not end on the pitch, taking his frustrations into his post-match press conference and openly criticising both the referee and Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy.
As quoted by Miguel Delenay, he said: "Well have you seen it?!

"The goalkeeper comes out and fumbles... then acts as if it's a shoulder injury!
"I thought 'there's no way he's overturning this'... it was a ridiculously bad decision.
"I'd question VAR today as much as the referee."
The Scotsman continued to heap the blame on Mendy for what he believed to be deceiving the officials.

"The goalkeeper tried to fake an injury on our first goal as well," Moyes continued. "So he's done the same on the second goal.
"Jarrod says he hasn't touched the goalkeeper at all. If anything, it might be a slight trailing foot, but the goalkeeper has already dropped the ball."
"He's faked a shoulder injury. It didn't affect him last 15 minutes."

It remains to be seen as to whether the Football Association will take action against the West Ham head coach, as they have done in the past with Thomas Tuchel.
