Conor Gallagher has lauded Chelsea for signing Raheem Sterling this summer and hopes his experience will help the squad lift more silverware.
Sterling arrived earlier this week from Manchester City following a £47.5 million transfer, leaving the Premier League champions for Stamford Bridge, signing a five-year contract in west London.
The 27-year-old is now the club’s current highest paid player and takes on the responsibility of improving the Blues’ attack under Thomas Tuchel.
Sterling won’t be involved in Chelsea’s first game of pre-season against Club America in Las Vegas despite training with his new teammates this week

Tuchel has confirmed the England international isn’t quite ready, admitting: "He is on an individual programme, he didn't join the team because some of the team are two weeks ahead of him with training sessions, double training sessions, and there are intense training sessions ahead of him.
"It is not the moment that he joins full team training in every minute on the pitch.
“For Raheem, we have not decided the line up but he did not train every minute with the team so it is not very likely that he will play."
Sterling looks set to have to wait to play with his teammates, but they are all already singing his praises.

Mason Mount, Reece James and Christian Pulisic have been extremely complimentary, now fellow Englishman Conor Gallagher, who has returned from a loan spell at Crystal Palace, is relishing the prospect of having Sterling in the team.
He told the official Chelsea website: "He’s a top player. What he’s done at Man City, Liverpool. I’ve been with him at England a couple of times.
“He can help the club and all the players around him.
"I’m very excited to have him here. The experience he has, hopefully he can bring that to Chelsea.”

His teammates know what he is capable of, as does Tuchel who has landed his number one priority signing this summer.
The Chelsea head coach added: "We will see what happens but it is pretty obvious what he delivers and that's exactly what you see on the pitch.
“I have a feeling that he is absolutely happy to be here.
"It's a new chapter for him and I feel he is ready to fulfil this chapter in his career.

He concluded: "The signing of Raheem shows what we're capable of doing, it shows the ambition of the club and the ownership and it's good because we're all here to win and compete.
"We love to compete and we love the challenge at the very top.
"For that we need signings of new quality players or otherwise there's no chance."
