Chelsea welcome the Croatian side to the capital for the final game of Group E as the Blues look to end the group stages on a high as they head into the last-16.

Zagreb have a chance of reaching the Europa League knockout stages should they beat Chelsea and RB Salzburg lose to AC Milan in the other fixture.

After beating Chelsea 1-0 in the opening game of Group E, which saw Thomas Tuchel sacked, Zagreb will be keen to land another huge result against the Premier League giants.

But they will have their work cut out, with the Blues keen on bouncing back from their defeat to Brighton at the weekend.

Now the officials for the European meeting have been revealed by UEFA ahead of the encounter.

Referee

UEFA confirmed that François Letexier (FRA) will take charge of the meeting as Group E continues to take shape.

Assistants

Overviewing proceedings on VAR will be Jérôme Brisard (FRA), who has been named as the Video Assistant Referee, with the Assistant Video Assistant Referee being Marco Fritz (GER).

What has been said ahead of the game?

With Chelsea already through into the last-16, Potter has a chance to rotate his squad to give many a rest to recover for the final three games before the World Cup.

However, the Chelsea head coach has confirmed he will be picking a side to beat Zagreb, which may mean none, or very few, youngsters will get minutes on Wednesday.

Potter said: "It's not a time just to use youngsters for the sake of it.

"We have to try to pick a team that can win. We've used a lot of young players, they've been impressive. I've liked their character and personality."
