Chelsea had an enquiry for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr turned down, according to reports in Spain.
The 21-year-old is one of the brightest young talents in world football and netted Real Madridās winner in the Champions League final against Liverpool earlier this year.
Despite interest from elsewhere, the winger decided to extend his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As reported by Marca, Vinicius Jr had interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United but were all given the same response.Ā
The Brazilian reportedly told his agent to not consider offers that came in for him, with Vinicius Jr seeing Real Madrid as āthe topā.
He had reportedly been offered more money elsewhere but felt valued more by Los Blancos.
Chelsea are in the market for attacking players this summer, with Romelu Lukaku set for a Stamford Bridge departure.Ā

Talks have continued between Inter Milan and the Blues as co-controlling Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is playing an instrumental part in a potential departure, agreeing to allow Lukaku to depart this summer.
However, a fee has not been agreed to allow the Belgian to depart on loan as of yet.
It is believed that Lukakuās wages, as well as the loan fee, is proving to be a stumbling block for Inter president Steven Zhang.

However, the club are willing to meet the demands, despite their presidentās doubts.
Vinicius Jrās La Liga rival, and fellow winger, Ousmane Dembele has been heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge this summer.
It has been suggested by claims in England that Dembele is 'ready to join' Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel, but only if he is given assurances about a starting role in west London.

The German is set to be a key decision maker in the transfer window, believing that he can guide Dembele to show his best form after working together at Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea have also been linked with Manchester City's Raheem Sterling this summer.
The England international looks likely to join Tuchelās side, bringing goals and Premier League experience in the summer rebuild.Ā
Chelsea are reported to be confident of landing Sterling this summer, with a fee of Ā£35 million being touted.Ā

However, Sky Sports claim Manchester City would demand a price of around Ā£60 million if they were to part ways with the England international.
Therefore, it is unclear as to whether the Blues are willing to meet this price tag.
One thing is for sure, Vinicius Jr will not be joining Chelsea this summer as he commits to Real Madrid for the foreseeable future.
