Chelsea are believed to be ready to engage in a transfer battle for Torino defender Gleison Bremer this summer, according to reports.
The Blues are set to be active in the market in the coming weeks as they begin their preparations for next season.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already lost two defenders in their backline, with Antonio Rudiger signing for Real Madrid and Andreas Christensen seemingly on his way to Barcelona.

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta has also been linked with a move to the Nou Camp, having spent ten years at Chelsea and becoming one of their most successful players ever.
As a result the Blues will be looking at the market in the hopes of refreshing their backline for the new campaign, with a Premier League title challenge on the cards.
According to La Stampa, Chelsea are ready to take part in an auction for Bremer this summer, with a deal amounting to around £34 million being suggested.

They will be joined by fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the defender as well as AC and Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich.
Bremer’s professional career began at Atletico Mineiro in Brazil, with the defender making his debut for the club in 2017 before sealing a move to Torino in Serie A the following year.
He has since made 110 appearances across all competitions for the Italian side, netting 13 goals and assisting five others from centre-back.
The 25-year-old was also voted as the league’s Best Defender for the season just gone, with his performances now attracting interest from some of Europe’s top sides.

Bremer is now just one of a host of names that have been linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer as they set their sights on a first Premier League title since 2017.
Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is expected to be one of the club’s first signings in the summer, with the 23-year-old being linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge last summer, only for him to stay in La Liga for a third season.
Kalidou Koulibaly, who has featured for Napoli since 2014, has also been a suggested name, with the Blues said to have offered him around £8.5 million a season.

Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar is another defender who has been linked with a transfer to west London, with Tuchel’s side needing to pay his club around £60 million should they want to sign him this summer.
