Chelsea will keep general admission season ticket prices frozen for the 2022/23 season, with price hike plans for their Westview stand lowered from the initial price announcement.
Plans were announced back in November regarding a three tier system for Westview as the club looked to bring in more revenue from ticket sales. It saw the most important ticket - Tier 1 - be priced at £3,900, while Tier 2 and Tier 3 were £3,000 and £1,500 respectively.
The club said: "Season ticket holders in Westview have been contacted regarding the changes, and have until May 15th 2022 to decide whether they wish to renew their existing seats, move within Westview, or move to other parts of the stadium.

"We will also aim to accommodate any supporters who currently sit together and would like to move seats as a group, subject to availability.
"Other supporters who wish to move to Westview will be able to join a waitlist from next year. Open days will also be available for supporters that wish to view the facilities."
But that was under the old ownership of Roman Abramovich. Now the consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital have taken over, they have been put under pressure to release details of the new ticket prices for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
An official announcement is expected soon but Bloomberg have reported the planned prices.

Excluding Westview, all of the other stands will have prices frozen once again, and there is good news regarding the West Stand plans.
They will stay however Boehly, Clearlake and co have made the decision to re-evaluate by slightly tempering the prices which will see a decrease from the initial significant hike.
Neither Chelsea nor a spokesperson were available for comment, however the Vice-Chair of the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, Dominic Rosso, welcomed the news of the freezing of prices, however criticised the price increase which will have a ‘significant impact’ on many supporters.

He said: “If these reports are correct, it is brilliant that the new owners have listened to the Trust and supporters, and have decided to freeze General Admission Season Tickets for next season.
“This will come as welcome news to loyal supporters who face a cost of living crisis and will avoid an extra financial burden.
“The CST remains disappointed at the decision to increase a substantial number of seats in the West Stand - this decision will have significant impact to supporters across Stamford Bridge.”
