Chelsea are looking to sign six new players this summer and are currently said to have a ‘good chance’ of acquiring three of their targets, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are set to begin their transfer business for the window, with Romelu Lukaku close to completing a loan move to Inter Milan after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
While the club have not yet welcomed any new arrivals, a number of their targets have already been revealed, with co-owner Todd Boehly sending a warning to their Premier League title rivals as he plans a ‘summer spending spree’.

The Blues will be looking at strengthening their attack and defence during the window, with the futures of some of their current options across the squad still in doubt.
According to Rob Draper, six new players are ‘wanted’ at the club this summer.
Wingers Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele are said to be at the top of their list, with the Blues having a ‘good chance’ of signing both of them in the window.

The same is also being said about defensive target Matthijs de Ligt, with Jules Kounde now set to join Barcelona despite being heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.
A busy summer therefore lies ahead of the west London side, who will be looking to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2017.
Other reports have revealed that Boehly recently met with agent Jorge Mendes, with the idea of Cristiano Ronaldo signing for the club being discussed.
However it is believed that a deal is ‘highly unlikely’ to happen, even though he only has one year left on his deal at Manchester United and has been offered to the club.

Tuchel is set to have around £200 million to spend in the market this summer, with the manager seemingly being backed by Boehly and the rest of the board as they head into the new season.
Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for the likes of Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech in the coming weeks.
Werner could be used in a player-plus-cash deal with Juventus for de Ligt, who has asked to leave the Serie A side this summer.

Pulisic has asked for more game time at the Blues and has been linked with a move to Liverpool, and Ziyech’s agents have already been in contact with AC Milan over a potential transfer to the San Siro.
