Chelsea have rejected an offer from West Ham for Emerson Palmieri as they seek a £15 million transfer fee for the defender, according to reports.
With the summer window set to close at the beginning of September, the Blues are beginning to work on both their incomings and outgoings for the current season.
Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella have all arrived at Stamford Bridge as major signings so far this summer, with Chelsea also interested in the likes of Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong.

Departures at the club have been limited so far, with Romelu Lukaku returning to Inter Milan on loan and Timo Werner heading back to RB Leipzig on a permanent deal.
However, this could soon change as Thomas Tuchel’s side look to raise funds from their summer business.
Cucurella’s recent arrival will see him compete with Ben Chilwell for the starting spot at left wing-back, therefore raising questions over the future of Emerson.
As a result, West Ham have shown their interest in the defender, with previous reports revealing that talks have taken place over a potential deal.

The west London outfit would prefer a permanent move rather than another short-term deal, with the 28-year-old spending last season on loan at Lyon.
However, the Guardian have revealed that Chelsea have rejected the Hammers’ opening offer of £13 million for the Italian international.
It is believed that the Blues want at least £15 million for Emerson, who has made a total of 71 appearances for the club.
Tuchel recently spoke on the club’s potential outgoings this summer, saying: "In general, nobody is for sale.

“Nobody is for sale, and everybody is for sale. It depends on what the player wants, how bad the player wants it, what we think about who is ready to pay a certain amount of money and then maybe everybody is for sale.”
A host of names have been linked with moves away from Chelsea this summer, although there have been no signs of certain deals as of yet.
Newcastle United have asked the Blues to be kept informed on the situations of four of their players.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been linked with a loan spell away from Stamford Bridge this season, is one, with Armando Broja being another.
Conor Gallagher is also thought to be of interest to the Magpies, as is Christian Pulisic, who is now in his fourth season at Chelsea.
It is a summer of change in west London, with the club’s new ownership now settling into life in the Premier League.
The transfer window will close in just over two weeks, but it appears as though Chelsea are far from finished when it comes to their business in the market.
