Chelsea have added two new attackers to their transfer shortlist this summer after appearing to miss out on Leeds United star Raphinha to Barcelona, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel is set to welcome his first addition to the team this week with the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
An initial fee of £47.5 million has been agreed, while personal terms in excess of £300,000-a-week have been agreed with the England international.

Sterling has already undergone his medical and is due to meet his new teammates in America later this week.
But he could have been joined by Leeds’ Raphinha after the Blues had a £55 million bid accepted. However, the 25-year-old held out for a move to Barcelona and despite conflicting reports of an agreement, the Brazilian looks to be heading to Spain.
It has left Chelsea to go back to the drawing board as Tuchel looks to bring in at least one more attacker this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have been offered to Chelsea, but Tuchel is ‘lukewarm’ on the duo and has looked elsewhere in Europe.

As reported by Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian, AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry are of interest to Chelsea this summer.
Tuchel is claimed to want an ‘unpredictable, clinical wide player’ in the summer transfer window and is likely to sign versatile forwards who can play across the frontline.
Hakim Ziyech is in talks with AC Milan over a summer switch to the San Siro, which could help Chelsea in negotiations if they decide to make a move for Leao.

However, it’s reported that the Rossoneri could demand £100 million for the Portuguese because they don’t want to let him go.
Gnabry is currently in contract talks with Bayern Munich but no developments have been made, which could make him available this summer.
But reports out of Germany insist Chelsea is not an option for the 26-year-old due to his former affiliation with London rivals Arsenal.

Ziyech is currently out in America with Chelsea so if there are any developments in the next two weeks over his future, it will be obvious, hinting that the Blues could be close to bringing in a replacement in the attack.
Timo Werner could leave Chelsea also this summer. They are willing to listen to offers for the Germany international.
Chelsea’s transfer business is yet to get started as the days tick down to the start of the 2022/23 campaign, but work is being done behind the scenes to ensure the new ownership back Tuchel heading into next season.
