Chelsea are eyeing up both Lorenzo Pellegrini and Yeremy Pino as contract extension talks for Mason Mount continue, according to reports.
23-year-old Mount has just one full season remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder broke into the Chelsea side three years ago, under the management of Frank Lampard while the Blues were dealing with their transfer ban.

Mount has been a key figure in all the managers he has played under, when Thomas Tuchel replaced Lampard he quickly established himself as one of the most crucial players.
With Potter at the helm now he has done the same, Mount has started in all four games the new head coach has taken charge of.

His most impressive display came against Wolves on Saturday, where he helped Chelsea cruise to a 3-0 win.
He picked out Kai Havertz with a wonderful delivery who sent a looping header over Jose Sa to give the west London outfit the lead.
In the second half, Mount was the provider once again, this time he slotted Pulisic in behind who guided his strike into the corner of the net.
Mount is evidently an important member of the side, and that is why Chelsea are expected to hold further talks to ensure he stays with the team.

So although keeping Mount will be the priority, the Blues are reportedly looking elsewhere for attacking midfielders.
In the summer transfer window just gone, the new ownership team, fronted by Todd Boehly, made a huge statement of intent.

A club record fee in excess of £250 million was spent, with big money moves for Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Raheem Sterling.
Looking ahead, as reported by The Telegraph one of the options being monitored is Pellegrini of Roma.
The 26-year-old is captain of Jose Mourinho's side and helped the Italian team win the Europa Conference League last season.
A year ago he penned a new five-year-deal at the club where he progressed from the academy to the first team.

Another potential target for Chelsea is Villareal midfielder Pino.
At just 19-years-old he already is rather experienced, he broke into the Spanish side two years ago and has played European football.
Similarly to Pellegrini though, he is contracted with his side until 2027 and would cost the Blues upwards of £40 million.
