Chelsea have been handed a triple injury boost during the international break, with N'Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic and Edouard Mendy returning to training.
Kante was taken off against Tottenham Hotspur in a 2-2 draw, suffering with a hamstring injury.
This came as a particualr blow to the Blues as Mateo Kovacic was also struggling with injury, leaving Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallager (who served a suspension during this time) and Jorginho as senior central midfielders.

Denis Zakaria arrived on loan from Juventus on Deadline Day but is yet to feature, looking to provide healthy competition in midfield.
Mendy was injured going into Chelsea's match against FC Salzburg, seeing Kepa Arrizabalaga handed a start.
He had an issue with his knee but briefly joined Senegal during the international break, according to The Evening Standard.

However, this did not last long as he headed back to Chelsea during the break.
It remains to be seen as to whether new Chelsea boss Graham Potter will keep Mendy as his number one, with the Senegal international strugglign in the early stages of the season.
Most notably, Mendy as at fault against Leeds United as Brendan Aaronson tackled him to score the opener.
He has also struggled with his distribution, but criticism may be unfair due to the extent of his injury.

Pulisic missed the USMNT clash against Japan through injury, though this appears to have been a precaution.
But now, Chelsea have been handed a huge boost in the trio's fitness.
Firstly, Mendy has returned to full training for Potter's side during the international break, pictured on the pitch with his teammates who are not with their national sides.
The biggest boost no doubt is the return of Kante, who has proven to be a key player for Chelsea over the years.

Finally, Pulisic has also returned for the USMNT and is confirmed to be starting in their final warm-up tie ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
The trio will hope to get back to full fitness upon their return to club football, looking to impress Potter and force their way into his plans.
