Thomas Tuchel's side should not consider selling USMNT captain Christian Pulisic in the summer transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool showing interest in the forward.
The 23-year-old made 38 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side this campaign, scoring eight goals and registering five assists throughout the season.
Despite a fairly uneventful season at Stamford Bridge, Pulisic has attracted interest from Liverpool as Sadio Mane looks set to leave the domestic double-winning side.

Pulisic made his debut under Tuchel for Borussia Dortmund but has failed to claim a regular spot in the Chelsea first team and has become subject of interest from Tuchel's predecessor at Dortmund, Klopp.
A deal looks unlikely as Liverpool will not match Chelsea's valuation of the American, according to reports, but even if the Reds come close to this, Tuchel must not consider selling to their rivals.
Chelsea have previously cut ties with struggling youngsters Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne, who left the club at 23-years-old and 22-years-old respectively before the pair went on to become two of the finest players in world football.

De Bruyne stopped at Wolfsburg before joining Manchester City, whilst Salah was sold to Roma en-route to signing for Liverpool.
The former Blues have come back to haunt their previous employers, proving to be vital for their teams, who now compete at the top of the Premier League ahed of Tuchel's men.
Chelsea have sold players to rival clubs before, as seen with Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic joining Manchester United in the past, with the likes of David Luiz, Willian and Petr Cech allowed to move to Arsenal.
Luckily for the Blues, these transfers did not come back to bite the club as much as the deals to allow Salah and De Bruyne to depart, but the latter two were sold due to not fulfilling their potential and being seen as raw talents at such a young age.

Pulisic is in the same boat as De Bruyne and Salah, rather than the others, due to still being a young player.
However, the American has shown his quality, most notably on international duty as captain of the USMNT.
The 23-year-old recently put in a Man of the Match performance against Morocco in a friendly for his country, setting up Brenden Aaronson for an opening goal in fine fashion as the Chelsea forward ran onto a lofted pass before bringing it down with a superb first touch before a fantastic piece of skill saw him cut back before supplying his teammate with a sublime assist.

Playing in the number 10 role for the USMNT, Pulisic was a danger throughout, being brought down for a penalty in the second-half and this role for his national side could offer Tuchel an alternative position for him in his Chelsea team for the future.
With the Blues struggling for goals in attack, Pulisic ended the season as the sixth highest scorer despite spending a large period of the season on the sidelines through injury.
Klopp has proven to get the best out of his attackers at Liverpool, most recently signing Luis Diaz, who has exploded onto the scene, a worry for the Blues if they are to sell Pulisic.
Chelsea cannot risk allowing Klopp to get his hands on another young talent such as Pulisic, who has shown the raw potential to become a world-class player in the future.
His best spell at Chelsea came playing in a 4-3-3 system under Frank Lampard, more similar to Klopp's system than the one Tuchel currently deploys, scoring 11 goals and registering 10 assists in 34 appearances in the 2019/20 season.

Pulisic would no doubt be a danger coming in onto his right foot from the left-hand side for Liverpool, replacing Mane, alongside
Salah on the opposing flank.
Chelsea are keen to close the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool, with a sale of a young but raw talent having the opposite affect and helping strengthen a rival.
Ousmane Dembele has been linked with a move to Chelsea as he could re-unite with both Tuchel and Pulisic, sharing a strong relationship from their time together at Dortmund.
Whilst Chelsea will most likely have to offload a forward for the deal to be complete, Pulisic simply must stay and look to cement his place in Tuchel's plans next season.
It's time for Chelsea to show that they have learnt from their De Bruyne and Salah mistakes of the past and stick by a young star, who will no doubt improve as he matures and live up to the price tag that the Blues forked out to see him join from Dortmund back in 2019.
