Chelsea are set to allow Callum Hudson-Odoi to leave on loan this summer after Todd Boehly’s plea asking him to not depart on a permanent deal, according to reports.
Over the course of the transfer window, the 21-year-old has been the subject of a lot of interest from clubs across Europe.
The winger struggled for game time last season, particularly when he spent most of the second half of the campaign on the sidelines through injury.

He has also told Thomas Tuchel that he wants to leave Chelsea this summer in order to gain more minutes on the pitch.
So far this season, he was left out of the matchday squad for the win against Everton on the opening weekend of the Premier League, before being an unused substitute against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Amid the signing of Raheem Sterling earlier in the summer and the potential arrival of another attacker, Hudson-Odoi has subsequently been linked with a move away.
As per the Evening Standard, he will only be able to leave Stamford Bridge on a loan deal this summer.

New owner Todd Boehly, who completed the takeover of Chelsea back in May alongside Clearlake Capital, is said to have personally pleaded with the youngster to not ‘force a permanent exit’.
Borussia Dortmund, Southampton and Leicester are all believed to be interested in him.
Chelsea are not thought to be ready to let him go on a permanent deal, but they will help pay his £150,000-per-week salary should an interested club not be willing to pay the full amount.
Hudson-Odoi has not yet made a final decision on his future.

Amongst the other aforementioned clubs who are showing interest in the Cobham graduate are Newcastle United, who are keen on three other players at Chelsea.
The Magpies have asked to be kept informed on the situations regarding Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Christian Pulisic this summer.
Such news comes amid the interest shown by Tuchel’s side in a number of targets.

Everton youngster Anthony Gordon has emerged as a potential signing this summer, although Chelsea have already had a £45 million bid rejected by the Toffees.
The Merseyside outfit hope that turning down such an offer will end the Blues’ interest in signing the 21-year-old, who already has Premier League experience to his name.
Leicester’s Wesley Fofana is still a key target for the reigning World Champions, with Tuchel keen to sign another centre-back before the transfer window shuts at the beginning of September.
Three major signings have already been made this summer, but Chelsea are set to continue their transfer business over the next couple of weeks.
