Chelsea have completed the signing of Carney Chukwuemeka on a six-year contract from Aston Villa, it has been confirmed.
The 18-year-old has signed a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, arriving from Aston Villa following an agreement between the two clubs earlier this week.
It is believed Chelsea will pay around £20 million for the teenager.
Chukwuemeka was delighted to have finally put pen to paper, telling the official Chelsea website: "It’s been quite hectic but I couldn’t get Chelsea out of my head the last few days so I’m just happy and relieved that it’s all done.

"I’m so excited and just can’t wait to get on the pitch, meet all the players and try to win games and trophies with Chelsea."
This is the club's second young signing of the summer following the arrival of Gabriel Slonina from Chicago Fire, a sign of the new owners investing in the club's future.
Todd Boehly added: "Carney is one of the most exciting young players in Europe so we are really looking forward to seeing him in action at Stamford Bridge.
"We are delighted to be able to bring him to Chelsea and add such a talented young individual to our squad for the new season and beyond."
Meanwhile, co-controlling owners Behdad Eghbali and José E. Feliciano, said: "We are building for both the now and the future so signing one of the hottest teenage talents in English football fits with both those aims.

"Chelsea have shown that young potential can be fulfilled at this club and under our ownership we are determined this will continue. We are looking forward to Carney thriving here."
Boehly's words suggest that Chukwuemeka will be part of Thomas Tuchel's squad for the 2022/23 season.
After his arrival was confirmed, he was captured behind the scenes as he checked out the Cobham facilities while expressing his happiness at joining the Blues.
"Not filling out the shirt so could do with a bit of gym (work)," he laughed heading down to the Cobham gym facilities.

"Wow! It's massive," reacted Chukwuemeka when seeing the facilities.
"It's crazy."
He has played 14 times in the Premier League, bagging an assist which saw him become the youngest player to register a goal contribution in the top-flight for Villa during their 2-0 win over Norwich City in 2021.
Chukwuemeka is one for the future, but Chelsea have high hopes and that has been seen in their investment and the fee they've paid Aston Villa.
