The fees Chelsea will pay for Denis Zakaria and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been revealed after they completed their transfers on Deadline Day.
Zakaria’s loan switch was confirmed in the early hours of Friday morning, a couple of hours after deadline after Chelsea submitted a Premier League deal sheet in order to get the deal over the line.
The 25-year-old has been signed to help ease the midfield concerns after Thomas Tuchel’s side sustained injuries to N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic already this season, while Conor Gallagher missed the defeat to Southampton due to suspension.
Zakaria underwent his medical in Turin on Thursday and will now fly to London to join up with his new teammates this week.

Zakaria expressed his delight at joining, telling the official Chelsea website: “I want to say hi to all the Chelsea fans. I’m very happy and proud to be a Blue and I cannot wait to see you soon at Stamford Bridge.”

Meanwhile, Aubameyang has signed a two-year contract with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, joining from Barcelona after only leaving Arsenal in January.
Barcelona confirmed the price paid in their leaving statement, revealing Chelsea will pay €12 million for the Gabon international.
“I’m really happy,” said Aubameyang. “It’s an honour to be part of this team and I can’t wait to start. I have some unfinished business with the Premier League so it’s good to be back and really exciting.”
