The race for Chelsea’s Armando Broja continues with Napoli keen on signing him to replace Victor Osimhen, according to reports.
Chelsea’s Broja has had a swarm of clubs looking to acquire his signature after he had a very successful first season in the Premier League with Southampton last year.
The 20-year-old scored six goals in the league and was a star performer in a side that narrowly managed to steer away from relegation.

His contributions were crucial in helping the Saints survive and Chelsea look set to give the Albanian a chance to impress in pre-season.
Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Broja and he does not want a permanent sale to go through until he has had the opportunity to assess the player during pre-season and determine as to whether he would be a good fit for the system or not.
He has previously praised the striker, stating: “Armando is getting better and better.”

Speaking about players out on loan, he added: “We have a reason as to why they are our players, they have quality, mentality.
“They are now out there on their own in different environments, different clubs and proving themselves.”
The Blues are weak at the striker position following the departure of Romelu Lukaku on loan to Inter Milan, with Kai Havertz and Michy Batshuayi the only real options should Broja choose to leave.

This does leave a space open for the striker should he want to fight for it.
He is determined to play first-team football, and although the place is by no means guaranteed for him, he can definitely throw his name in the hat.
Previous reports suggested West Ham United were the club leading the race, but Everton, Newcastle and Southampton, who he was on loan at last season are all interested.

It is being reported now though by Alfredo Pedulla that Napoli are very hopeful of completing a deal to sign Broja.
They are lining up a potential replacement for Osimhen who has been linked with moves away from Naples and they feel Broja could be an ideal fit.
The Blues are claimed to value the Albania international at around £30 million, with plans still being weighed up for his future.
Broja is hoping to have his future resolved before their pre-season tour of the United States as talks remain ongoing between the club and his representatives.

It is a high point to set his price tag, but it by no means comes as a surprise due to the amount of interest surrounding him and clubs may be willing to fork out that much to sign a potential star.
