Brentford manager Thomas Frank plans to give his players Christmas off thanks to an unexpected quirk in the fixture list.
The Bees will receive an extended winter break thanks to Manchester City's participation in this season's Club World Cup.
After a tricky start, Brentford have won their last three, and Frank wants to take the unprecedented step of giving his players some time off during an intense period.

Premier League sides across the country will play multiple games per week in December, although City's travels to Saudi Arabia give Brentford a unique bonus.
The original fixture, set to take place on December 23, has been postponed, with a new date yet to be determined.
After hosting Aston Villa on December 17, Brentford won't return to action until December 27, when they'll host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Most Premier League teams train early on Christmas Day before returning to their families for the afternoon.
Rather than do that, Frank is considering shutting the training ground on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which will delight his players.
Interestingly, Brentford will not play an away game outside of London for two months after they visit Bramall Lane for a clash with Sheffield United on December 9.

Their next venture outside the capital will be against Wolves at Molineux on February 10.
Brentford came from behind to defeat West Ham United 3-2 on Sunday evening to move up to ninth in the table.
"I’m so pleased with the mentality of the players - being 2-1 down in a Premier League game is always difficult to turn around," Frank told Brentford's official website.

"We started the first half, we went 1-0 up, then they scored two goals - the first one is a great goal. The last 10 minutes before the break, we were more on top, creating chances and opportunities.
"Then, second half, I felt we were so cool, so composed, kept discipline in the game plan, kept playing, kept getting down the side and producing crosses, and we got two well-deserved goals in the end.
"I think the win was so well deserved in the end which is very impressive. I’m very pleased."
