Jurgen Klopp gave a rousing speech to Liverpool supporters after lifting the Premier League title last night.

After a 30-year wait, the Reds finally hoisted the trophy aloft a special ceremony at Anfield after the 5-3 win over Chelsea but did so without any supporters present due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Klopp would have loved nothing more than to celebrate the historic achievement with the club's fans, though he did give a superb interview on Sky Sports addressing them directly.

He said: "Five years ago I asked you to change from doubters to believers and a minute before the press conference I had no idea that I would ask it but I asked it and you did it. You made us! Really, thank you very much.

"We all together should celebrate at home, safe. Drink what you want, but you have to prepare for a party I don't know when.

"When this bullsh*t virus is gone, then we will have a party all together. Make sure you are ready then. Thank you very much."

Klopp's interview with Sky Sports was briefly interrupted the first time as Liverpool players and staff were about to do a rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' on the Anfield pitch.

Kelly Cates recognised that and allowed the German to join his team in belting out the club's iconic anthem in a special moment.
