PSG eye blockbuster £200m deal for Kylian Mbappe replacement that would stun the football world

PSG eye blockbuster £200m deal for Kylian Mbappe replacement that would stun the football world

PSG want to make a massive statement.

PSG are looking to make a huge statement to the rest of Europe as they target £200m wonderkid to replace Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe's exit from the Parisians feels like it's been years in the making, with constant contract disputes alongside heavy links to Real Madrid leading to consistent speculation.

However, it seems the saga is finally coming to an end this season with Mbappe's contract running out in the summer with his move to Madrid set to be sealed.

The Frenchman's exit puts PSG in a difficult position, as they have seen their global superstars such as Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi, and Sergio Ramos all leave the club in the last year.

After building from the ground up to achieve their Champions League ambitions, the French side looks to be forced into another rebuild with so many of their key men leaving the club.

That rebuild is already well underway with signings such as Bradley Barcola who has had a major impact on the squad reaching the Champions League semi-finals.

PSG love to go big, and according to reports from Le Parisien (via Sport), they are planning a sensational swoop for 16-year-old Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

The report states: "PSG dream of signing Lamine Yamal. The previously rumored figure of 200 million euros should be regarded with seriousness."

This wouldn't be the first time the Ligue 1 powerhouse have taken Barcelona's biggest asset, with Neymar's move in 2017 a massive shock to the footballing world.

However, the exit of Yamal would be an absolute disaster for the club considering his performances and potential.

PSG bosses were reportedly extremely impressed with Yamal during the Champions League quarter-finals and believe an offer of 200 million euros to be a realistic figure to acquire the Spaniard despite a release clause of €1bn.

Yamal has been a revelation this season scoring four times in La Liga in 16 starts. The teenager also played ten times for the Spanish giants in the UCL before they were knocked out by PSG.
