TV presenter Piers Morgan has mocked Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag following Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-0 win over The Red Devils.
It was United’s first defeat of the season as Ten Hag’s side continued their underwhelming start to the new campaign.
On the other hand, Spurs were in complete control in North London as manage Ange Postecoglou delivered on his promise to bring entertaining football to the club.

The defeat leaves Spurs fifth in the early standings with United languishing in 10th.
TV presenter Morgan was quick to have his say on social media and mocked United for their poor display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The diehard Arsenal fan made reference to the last time The Red Devils conceded two against Spurs, a game which United eventually won thanks to a hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo.
He said: “Last time Spurs scored twice against United, a United player scored a brilliant hat-trick to beat them on his own.

“But he was deemed ‘the problem’ and left, leaving Ten Hag with nobody else to blame.”
Piers is a massive fan of the former United star and was critical of their decision to let him leave midway through last season.
Ten Hag has since reinforced his striking options by bringing in Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta this summer.
United need to strengthen in midfield

Another key signing for Ten Hag this summer was midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea.
The Englishman was supposed to ‘complete’ United’s starting midfield playing alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes, but after two games it’s clear the dynamic isn’t working.
With both Bruno and Mount forwarding thinking players, it’s consistently left Casemiro vulnerable, and signing another defensive midfielder is now top of the list of United’s priorities.
The club offloaded midfielder Fred recently and are still looking to sell Scott McTominay in the hope of raising funds for new additions.
