Harvey Elliott has a bizarre new celebration, with fans calling it 'cringey'

The Liverpool forward scored the winner in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Harvey Elliott scored the winning goal as Liverpool climbed to the top of the Premier League table, beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

The 20-year-old followed up on Mohamed Salah's equaliser to snatch all three points for Jurgen Klopp's side, and debuted a brand new celebration in the process

Heading towards the travelling supporters, Elliott performed a Dragon Ball Z-themed celebration, much to the delight of the away end.

Going 'Super Saiyan' so to speak, Elliott scored his first of the season after 20 appearances, with the Reds briefly overtaking Arsenal in the table.

Fans online provided their reaction to the youngsters new celebrations, with some less than happy with his attempt.

@Lucas_Duston7 wrote: ''Kind of cringe but great goal.''

@Fishymac2008 added: ''Kids these days!''

@LfcCxle said: ''This guy been spending too much time with Ibou.''

@NeilMax13 posted: ''Take the goal off us.''




Liverpool have been impresssive form so far this season, having lost just once in the Premier League.

Klopp's side have already safely secured their passage to the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League too, after winning four of their five games in Group E.

Speaking following the victory at Selhurst Park, the German amplified his displeasure at his sides performance for most of the encounter.

"I told the boys that’s the first time I saw someone play as bad as we did for 76 minutes and still win it."
