Rare footage of Mike Tyson celebrating with Tupac Shakur the night he was killed resurfaces

Mike Tyson and Tupac Shakur shared a wholesome moment backstage.

Ultra-rare footage of Mike Tyson celebrating a big win with Tupac Shakur the night he was killed makes for chilling viewing.

The legendary rapper was cruelly shot to death the night of September 7, 1996, after he left the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Tyson had fought Bruce Seldon.

Almost 30 years later, Las Vegas police arrested a man in connection with the murder of Tupac.

The hip-hop icon was shot four times in a drive-by shooting, with his killer remaining a mystery.

Before being gunned down, Tupac watched Tyson beat Seldon in the very first round to claim the WBA heavyweight world title.

After the one-round demolition, 'Iron' Mike celebrated his victory with Tupac, as seen below.

Tyson and Tupac were close friends and they shared a special moment backstage.

On Tupac's death, Tyson said it was 'planned in advance' as he opened up on his pal's death.

Speaking to Fat Joe, he said: "I never said this, but all that stuff was planned in advance... I believe that the fight was the opportunity for it to happen.

"I just believe that was the perfect opportunity for something like that to happen... Everybody knew everybody was going to be there."

The 54-year-old added: "And the people that wasn't there, wasn't there because they knew who was going to be there.

"This is the real. Tupac was just a force. He was just an uncontrolled force and that was the problem. He was powerful and he just - no one could control him."
